The cards are totally normal and you're ready to perform your favorite trick!
Part 1: The magician shows two chinese coins (regular size) and says that in China "less is more". He puts one of the coins in his pocket, clearly leaving only one coin in his hand; but when he asks how many coins are left and spectators answer "one", he opens it and there are three coins! He repeats the action, putting one of the three coins in the pocket, leaving two in his hands but when spectators say "two" he can show there are now four coins! Very visual effect. In the end the four coins can be examined.
Part 2: The magician shows two jokers, both sides, and his hands completely empty. The two cards are put together face to face and a jumbo chinese coin appears from in between them. This is repeated three times causing three more jumbo coins to appear from nowhere, always showing the cards both sides and the hands empty. All four coins can be shown both sides. The clear conditions in which this effect takes place makes it a miracle.
The Appearing Cane is in fact a high quality steel spring coil attached to a ferrule with a locking arrangement. When released it opens out into the shape of a cane, over three feet in length. The effect is visual, the magician reaches into the air and a solid cane over three feet long just pops into his hand. Alternatively, a silk is shown and as the performer waves it, it suddenly and visibly changes to a full size elegant cane. This model is the traditional one for the performer in traditional attire.
These canes are well made of high quality steel and will last a lifetime if used with care. Use it as an opening item or anytime during your act.
The magician removes his jacket and holds it in front of him, with just his feet protruding at the bottom out of the bottom of the jacket. Suddenly the magician levitates several inches into the air!
"A skeptic would think that I used sleight-of-hand while holding the cup, so this time I'll leave it on the table." Take the second coin and wave the pen over your hand. Again the coin vanishes, and again there is a loud clink inside the cup even though no one is anywhere near it! Dump out both coins, display them, then replace them inside.
"A really persistent skeptic might think that I somehow tossed the coin into the cup, so this time I'll make it totally impossible." Use a deck of cards to cover the mouth of the cup so that nothing could possibly get inside. Take the last coin in your hand and slowly wave the pen, explaining, "It's going to happen on the count of three. One, two..."
"Three!" At that instant the coin vanishes from your hand and a loud clink is heard from inside the cup. You reach over, lift off the deck and dump all three coins from the cup, leaving your audience completely flabbergasted!
Wait until you see how good this looks! And there's no reset - just toss the coins back into the cup and you're ready to go again. You will receive the complete illustrated routine along with a diabolical new gimmick that's built into an ordinary looking BIC pen. You supply the coffee cup and three coins. No gimmicked coins are needed - it works with quarters, half dollars, even foreign coins.
