The two silks are now placed in the can, and again removed. There, you see, the White silk dyed Black is now White, and the Black silk dyed White is now Black again! This is repeated till the audience realizes you are pulling their leg, and tell you so!
You appear hurt at this accusation of trying to deceive them so blatantly, and offer to make the transformation a little easier to follow. The silks are replaced in the can. You now pass your hand in front of the can, wiping off all the White spots. The can is now completely Black. The spots are tossed into the can. When the silks are now removed, the two silks are found to be spotted. There you see, the White silk dyed Black which is now White has the Black spots, and the Black silk dyed White which is now Black has the White spots!
A great effect, easy to do, and supplied complete with the special mechanical can, all the required silks, and routine.
The helper puts the shuffled cards face down in a row on the table. The magician and the spectator discard the cards, one at a time, until ONLY ONE is left on the table. He turns it and finds out that it is the "Chinese coin". Then the magician suggests the spectator open the envelope and read the prediction in a loud voice. When everybody expects him to read "You will choose the Chinese coin", the spectator reads: "Look at the Magician's Button", then they look at it finding out that the button has "only a big Chinese coin" printed on it.
Display a small spiral bound memo pad and a deck of cards. You pick up the notebook and explain that you're going to act as a magician AND a mentalist. You proceed to openly write a prediction down in the pad. A spectator now selects a card and then returns it to the pack. You now explain that a mentalist would simply PREDICT the card selected and a magician would have to FIND it. With that... you begin to slowly rub the spiral binding of the notebook against the deck. Suddenly one card, from the middle of the pack, literally becomes BOUND within the spiral coil!
When the pad and card are turned...you have written the correct name and, of course, the bound card is the selection! You have to see this to believe it! The card is truly bound among the sheets of paper in the pad - The deck is legitimate and everything can be examined - IN A BIND can be performed at any time during your routine - This is SO cool looking; you'll be as amazed as your audience!
The magician displays four envelopes and each spectator has a chance to choose an envelope. The magician is left with the last envelope. Everyone has a free choice. NO FORCE! The spectators then open their envelopes and find a card which has written on it...Thanks For Playing! Try Again! Imagine the spectators amazement when you open your envelope and pull out a crisp, new $100 bill! The envelopes are ungaffed, one of the spectators can even open the envelope and take the bill out! This is one of those miracles that the audience will remember long after the performance!
CHILDREN SHOWS... Sticks of gum can be substituted for the cards. Now, three of the kids can win a stick of gum and you are left with the $100 bill. The kids have fun and are entertained, and the adults are fooled!
CLOSE-UP OR STAGE... This trick can easily be performed close-up, perfect for restaurant or walk-around because of the quick reset. It is also a great way to approach tables. It is perfect for stage because it packs small but plays big! You can immediately add it to your act!
